Throughout the late '90s, New York noise-pioneers Les Savy Fav created a master compilation in the form of 'Inches'. Bringing together a series of avant-garde, punk-infused tracks, they released the compilation through a series of nine 7" records that when put together, would make the complete cover art.

'Rodeo' was one of the first singles, recorded at Rare Book Room, Brooklyn New York in February of 1997, with B-Side 'Blackouts on Thursday' recorded at The Parlour Pawtucket, Rhode Island in May of 1996. This single was released through the brilliant Sub Pop label.
