Video: Lucian Scott – ‘The Living Flame'

Lucian Scott is a Nashville, Tenessee based composer and musician with a real talent for creating dark atmospheric styles of heavy metal. Heavily influenced by bands like Type O Negative, Danzig, and Dimmu Borgir, Lucian has managed to develop his own style that incorporates the established sounds of his idols with a fresh, creative approach. The result, is some heavy, unwavering tracks like ‘The Living Flame’.

Built on a dark frame of deep brooding vocals, crushing guitar riffs and hauntingly symphonic elements, Lucian’s work are Gothic-inspired wandering through a doom metal soundscape, combining the two styles into an overwhelming, frequently orchestral sound. Pitching between infinite extremes, there is everything from calm ethereal ambience to brutal almost relentless black metal. New Album ‘STORMS’ is set to be released midway through next month on the 13th of October, 2018 and is lead by new single, ‘The Living Flame’.

A crushing metal composition, the track was written and recorded by Lucian Scott, and co-produced by Steven Danielson. Check it out in the video above.
